[Volga] Northern European / Scandinavian style Chronograph Outdoor Sport Watches Casual Men's watch

I purchased this watch because of the "Volga" name which was associated with Russian watches of rugged quality. The price was right so I took a chance. This watch appears to be a Chinese watch with a Japanese movement using the "Volga" name. That said, I knew the price point would not necessarily give me a fine quality watch. On the negative side, the hands are black against the black dial face making them almost invisible. The ends of the hands are tipped with a white phosphorus material but that gets lost in all the white dial markings, so bottom line, hard to read time. The band is "unisex" which means it is not long enough for a larger wrist. It does close around my wrist but is not long enough for the double band keepers to be of any use, the end of the band stops at the buckle. On the positive side, it is a very light watch for it's size and the size is more "mens" then "unisex" and it, so far, seems to keep good time and the stopwatch and elapsed time features work well enough. It is also a pretty good looking watch. A larger band and contrasting hands would make this a better buy.

This is a good-looking watch and a great deal for the money ...just one problem. It is almost impossible to tell the time, at a glance. They needed to make the hour and minute hands white. Such an easy fix! If they did that, I would give it 5 stars.

Arrived on time and is as described. Chronograph works and watch keeps proper time. Watch band is comfortable, it isn't stiff, doesn't cut into my arm. Worth the money.
