Doesn’t work I had more than one standard drink a couple hours later to see if they worked I tested and got two negatives which was definitely wrong as I still felt buzzed went back to the reviews and saw that others said the same so I tested the strip straight on alcohol and a little breast milk and it hardly changed at all for sure not safe I recommend just waiting a full 12-24hr after drinking to breastfeed again and just use your milk stash to feed your little one

I tested this out after drinking a few margaritas and it showed negative. I received a defective box, however, customer service was great about it and handled it perfectly. Unfortunately, I stopped breast feeding, therefore I was unable to try again with a new box, hence the four stars as I can't confirm if the product actually works.

I used these 1.5 years ago when I was BF my son, and now I am using them again with my newborn. I think of anything it just gives me a peace of mind knowing that I can have a drink or 2 and still check my milk to make sure I’m not giving my baby alcohol infused breast milk. The strip will definitely change color if there is alcohol present.

For the sake of your baby DO NOT rely on these strips!!! Immediately after a glass of wine I tested every 10-15 mins for an hour. Negative every time. I did it again another night after 2.5 standard drinks. Every 10-15 mins. Not a single positive. And I was definitely feeling it.I threw them away. You cannot trust them!!!! They do not work. It is best to follow the guideline of 2 hrs/standard drink. Use the calculator to determine a drink size. It’s not hard and it’s accurate. Do not waste your money!! Don’t put your baby at risk!

They definitely work! I had been drinking a glass to 1.5 glasses at a time of wine. It always came up negative even while I drank and pumped. But I had a good bit more tonight and man that strip turned dark brown. So I definitely had alcohol in there. Hated to pour out 3 oz but happy I knew to not give it to my baby. Love having these around.
