I was a bit surprised on how few turns to fully open and close, so you do have to be careful with that with the hot water. I upgraded our ourdoor faucet primarily so we can give the dogs a bath on the deck without freezing the dogs or ourselves. I turn both hot and cold fully open and we get nice warm water.Installation of the faucet itself is simple, and the main work is getting the hot water over to the faucet location.I do think the threads on the faucet could be knocked down a bit, they are quite sharp, so it's a bit difficult to screw the hose to the faucet the first time. I hit it with some sandpaper and that helped greatly.

I mean who doesn't want hot and cold water in their garage! Works great, have plumber install this if you don't know how. Water damage is a horrible thing to deal with if this is poorly installed

Bought this one to replace the older version of the same model that I left a hose on in winter. That is a no-no, and it burst the unit. That was my fault. Without a hose on in the winter, they work flawlessly, and are fantastic for filling pools, washing the dog, and for cleaning up things outdoors.

This faucet is is already rusting and leaks when shut off.

Since Moen discontinued their outdoor sill cock I needed another outdoor hot and cold hose faucet to recommend to my clients. Works great. Installs easy for the average plumber.
