Winx 56066 CD Boombox, AM/FM Radio Tuner

I purchased this as a Christmas gift for my grand daughter. Straight out of the box it would not play CDs at all, just spun them around. I sent it back and ordered another, hoping it wasjust one defective product. Got the second one and the CD plays but continually skips. I rate this as a piece of junk and a lot of nuisance to order, return, order, return. Save your time and money.I do give Amazon (Prime) a five star for quick delivery, accepting returns, making it relatively easy to send a return with a computer printed label, and crediting the refund promptly to my account.Guessing the product itself is another example of poor quality, cheaply "made in China" junk.

I bought this for my grandson 3 years ago and it is still going strong! He is 3 and has been inserting his own cd's and dealing with the all the functions since he was 2. Great sound and no skipping. I have been extremely pleased with this purchase. Very durable - looks as good as the day it was purchased and it has been used constantly by a toddler.

This does not come with a headphone jack . 2 screws were loose in the inner face CD plate which scratched the h€ll out of my daughters brand new Read along CD and unless you don't mind breaking the bank on buying batteries for this . I recommend a BETTER and cheaper product . My little piece of junk is what my 7 year old got for Christmas and a new CD I will have to replace .

This is the cutest CD player! Unfortunately the bass isn't what I need it to be :( I have a CD that I play for my daughter (4months) to help her sleep. The music has a heartbeat behind it and you can't hear it through these speakers. I do have to return it BUT it's great if you don't need to be extremely picky like me :)

We got this for my four-year-old so he can listen to music at night. It lasted 1year and the CD player stopped working. there was no way to contact the manufacturer, luckily I called Amazon and with their amazing customer service they were able to replace it.

Bought for my 3 year old's room since he has quite a few read along books. Works great for my toddler. Wish it had a head phone jack or ability to plug in a mp3 player. But other than that, works fine and we are all pleased with it.

I had to return it. It skipped on the first song on each cd we tried. Amazon was great in letting me return it but I will never by this brand again.8 it was for my granddaughter, she never got to use it because I tried it first and I never got it to work correctly. It was defective out of the box.

This is a cute little boom box, BUT, the antenna broke after the first day, and they market it with the headphone as a side purchase, however, there is no headphone jack. I was disappointed since I bought the matching Pinky Pie headphones only to find out they won't owe with the stereo. Stupid!

Son loves this and the sound quality is pretty good. He doesn't really know who the turtles are yet but I couldn't find many portable stereos on the market for boys! This got great reviews and, in my opinion, they are well deserved. The best thing is how easy it is for a 5 year old to operate although a clearer, more easy to use, volume control would be handy.

Bought for my grandsons 5th birthday. He had never seen a radio or c.d player as he has an ipad. He loved it. Just goes to show, even the kids of this technology age can be amused by simple things.

Do not buy. Not fit for use in UK. 120V not 240V and adaptor supplied is US not UK. Radio itself looks great and son loved it so he is disappointed. Cannot comment on sound or performance as smoke immediately started pouring out back once plugged into mains using an adaptor - UK voltage too high for it. Dangerous!
