HORRIBLE HORRIBLE PRODUCT
First I must state that I have a stand alone blu-ray Panasonic recorder. My experience is from recording directly onto the disc, not using a blu-ray drive and a computer. I have used only Verbatims and Ridata (Ritek) discs and they have worked flawlessly thus far. To save alittle money I decided to try these. When they arrived I opened the package and found the discs are very lite weight and obvioulsy very cheap compared to the other products named. The recording surface is a different color and the dye color is inconsistant. This made me very questionable from the begining. Now what I do is transfer AVCHD discs to the HDD of the recorder and they burn them to BD-R or I recording standard definition to the HDD and then put it on BD-R. This way I can get 10 hours of AVCHD (high definition) on one 25g BD-R. I ordered 25 of these Optical Quantums but I used only one. I transferred two 120 minute films to the disc and I noticed the dye color was all distorted throughout, with lite and dark patches. I tried playing them back and they froze up every few seconds. Since I already knew by this that the product was garbage I decided to record the remainging disc space at the highest quality level for SD for 10 mb/s to fill the rest of the disc. It was a waste of 2 hours of my time. When completed only a few minutes recorded as most of the remaining dye would not even hold any recording information at all. This is just a horrible horrible product. Atleast the one disc I used out of the only package I will ever purchase was. When I tried to put the same disc back into the recorder a few minutes later, it would not even recognized the disc.If this is an example of this company's product, shame on them. I sent the package back and ordered Ridata. They are quality and cost only 10% more. Sometimes you get what you pay for, but with this product you get far less than what you pay for.

Optical Quantum 4X 25GB BD-R Blu-ray Blank Media Discs
These Are My Second Purchase Of Blu-ray Blank Media 25GB Disc. My First Were The SONY Brand BD-R's. SONY BD-R Media Are Great, But A Bit More Expensive. When I Saw These "Optical Quantum 4X 25 GB BD-R Blu-ray Blank Disc, I Thought They Must Not Be That Great Of A BD-R Media Compared To The Other Brands Like SONY, TDK, Memorex, Etc. But I Thought The Price Was Terrific and The Reviews By Most Customers Gave It High Marks Of 5 Stars. I Tried Them Out On My "LG Electronics 10X Blu-ray SATA Writer Drive Model Number WH10LS30K. They Worked Beautifully. No Problems In Video or Audio Quality In Making Any Kind Of Back-ups On Various Media Whether It Be Data, Music or Video. I Highly Recommend The "Optical Quantum 4X 25GB BD-R Blu-ray Blank Disc White Inkjet Hub Printable 25 PCS". Definitely Will Buy Again and Again. Thank You Optical Quantum For Offering A Great Blank Media Discs At A Terrific Price and Of Course Amazon.com. A Must Buy For Blu-ray Fans!!!

Overperforming Discs at a Bargain
I bought these Optical Quantum single layer Blu-ray discs to go with my new LG Electronics 10X Blu-ray SATA Writer Drive with Software WH10LS30K - Bulk (Black) drive. These are single layer 25 GB discs rated at 1-4x speed. At about a dollar a disc, the price is comparable to the storage capacity of 5 discount DVD discs. When I burn data discs, my burning software (Ashampoo Burning Studio 2010 Advanced) recommends an 8x burn, double the manufacturer's top rated speed. OK, why not? At 8x, I burn 24 GB of data in about 16 minutes, which is about 24 megabytes a SECOND. The finished data discs read perfectly with no problems. The discs come with a bonded white surface coating that completely covers the top surface of the disc. This surface is supposedly ink jet printable. As soon as I can figure out how to get a disc through an ink jet, I'll give it a try. ;-) For now, I'm using Sharpie markers, which work great!

Good value!
I've gone through around 75 of these 4x Optical Quantum BD-R's and I have to say, I'm really pleased with them. I was VERY skeptical with my first order, but I've not had any bad burns yet. I burn using an LG 10x internal SATA drive, and the discs playback fine on my SONY and Mitsubishi BD players. (They load very quickly, and videos I've burned to them are without fault.) The printable surface isn't the best I've seen, but they still do a pretty good job. Until this product performs otherwise, I'll keep buying and recommending them.

NOT FOR ME - trail and error - UPDATED REVIEW
I am getting about an 80% success rate out of these. I think that is pretty bad. Just recently had to burn 10 discs and 2 of them had errors - prior to that I would have an occasional error. Other than that they are great! They print very nice and burn nice (most of the time). I am going to try another brand and see if I have better luck. If not than I will stick with these and change my 3 stars to 4 stars.UPDATE: I changed my rating to 2 stars because my expectations and standards have changed - I tried out digistor and so far I have a 100% success rate and 0 coasters. Keep in mind I am using the same burning equipment - the only thing that has changed is the brand of BD-R's i am using - I decided to update my review because it is time to re-order and I was reading reviews again and remembered my review for these. Note to AMAZON - get rid of BOGUS reviews. I do not want to have buyers remorse for buying something that stinks!

To Class Discs
Until now very satisfied with these bluray discs, I think they are a little bit thicker than others that may be a factor why I can burn them at 8X even if they are 4X branded.Tested them for read and copy all the files back to the hard drive and everything was perfect. One thing I learned the hard way is that the used burning program has a very high impact on the succes of burning the disc.A time a go I changed my DVD burner but randomly I got DVD failures when burning I upgrade Nero and and the burning succes rate came close to 100%. >When burning blurays I first tried with that same version of Bero to burn some bluraya but got errors when closing them. Then I used the software Power2go with the same brand discs and since then none has failed... !!!
