Pensacola Bahiagrass
Being in Florida means, you have sand to work with. We had tried other brands and types of grass without much success. This does take some time to sprout so, if you're in a hurry, then go buy something else that you'll have to reseed next year.As the directions say, this will take longer before you'll see the grass start to pop up. This comes up thin at first but develops quickly once it's up. Very happy with it and buying some more.

5 stars seeds make wonderful lawn
These seeds are amazing. I have such a beautiful lawn now. It grows really fast. I use some techniques in order to get them germinated fast. First l do not cover the seeds with soil. I wet the soil really well before sowing the seeds then use my boots stepping on the seeds to get them to submerge into the ground but not fully covered. Then l sprinkle thin layer of cow manure just to cover the seeds, but not too thick. Next l sprinkle another thin layer of some potting mix with perlite. Then water it really well and covering up any spots that you still can see the seeds exposed. Voila! Keep water it 2 times a day and it will germinate within 5-7 days. Good luck.

It's Bahia.
I moved into my new house 4 years ago, the builder laid Bahia. It's patchy grass on it's best day. I'm in Florida and a couple of winters burned parts. A few tropical storms and a couple hurricanes, it didn't like tons of water. I was left with large patches of no grass since Bahia doesn't "spread", once it's gone, it's peace out.I do live close to the shore which has a lot of weather conditions, the soil has a lot of sand, periods of extreme water, extreme no-water, beating sun and heat.Instead of re-sodding at a few thousands dollars with something else, I thought I would give seeds a try in a few of the patches. I bought the $24 small bag. I took my hand and threw it around on some of the patches like I was throwing chicken feed.I did not prep the patches that had dead grass/weeds still present. I did not cover it with soil or lightly with hay. I did turn the irrigation on for a couple of minutes to make the yard softer, scattered, irrigated again for about 15 minutes. Florida sun then dried the heck out of them all day, they laid there looking pathetic. I turned the irrigation on again when the sun went down. "Stay wet over night y'all!"I didn't want to run my irrigation every day, twice a day, that's really expensive, about $200 a month extra. So I did it just once every night after the sun went down, unless there was any rain that day.It came in beautifully, but probably only 75% what was laid down. I bought another bag to fill more in, but I was heavy-handed the second time. It came in even better. So I hired TruGreen to treat my lawn, which killed it.Back to the drawing board. Reseeded yet again, in the fall, when you're not suppose to, and it's coming in nicely again.

So so germination
We purchased this seed to fill in some spots in our Bahia lawn. Half of the areas germinated and grew well, but half didn't even though the same method was used. I'm not a lawn expert, but I thought that the product would be better.

growing and beautiful
a shame that there is weed seeds in the grass seed, but even the weeds are green! followed the planting instruction and in less than 4 weeks the area is covered with grass. Not ready to cut yet, but it looks fantastic. It was hard finding grass that would grow in SW Florida; this fit the bill!

Not worth the money no grass grew
Not worth the money I followed directions the seed has been down for 22 days and not one piece of grass has grown. The seed did not work. Wondering if it was a bad or old seed. Wish I saved the bag to check if it had a date. It was easy to spread because I used my seed spreader. But overall was a total waste of money for me.

Actually live in pensacola
Grass will grow in very sandy soil. Fills in well. The only issue I had was a bunch of birds showed up and started eating the seed. I bought bird seed and put it out in the same area and it kept them from eating the grass seed as they seem to prefer bird seed to the grass seed.Used in a sandy area (about 1/4 mile from beach) that is very shaded and also watered 3 days a week during the summer. Will update if it starts to die off or I have any issues with it. At 2 months it looks great
