I love and hate this combo!Pros:CompactHandles 1lb bass n 5lb carpPretty sturdy for it being a thin rodCons:Reel is cheap(bad drag and mostly plastic)Rod only takes reel it comes with( so no upgrades)

love it its my favorite pen fishing rod on amazon the rod is good and it folds up the reel good but i put a better one on but overall its really good. and YT.com is really nice and have good customer service

I have a small pouch that holds a full, easy to carry fishing rod, reel, and tackle. I can keep it with me, and take a fishing break anytime. Very pleased with this purchase. I ordered a second one.

This little rod and reel works great. Took it crappie fishing and it casted fine caught a 3 lb crappie on it.

My wife loved it.

I manage to catch my biggest fish on this little pen rod (just a 2lb) but it works and held up great.

Had my doubts..... Works like a charm! Put it to the test with some salt water action and was not disappointed!

I bought for a gift.It has not been used yet, but it looked pretty cool. Just like a really big pen.
