I’ve never seen color so true as I have on this TV. The two flat screens that I’ve tried the colors are either too red or they’re faded out. This is perfect. And very sharp.About the sound. Some people don’t like it. I have what it’s called. ‘Golden ears’. I’d make an audiophile blush. I hear sounds that the average human being cannot. It’s a proven fact. I scored second highest when we had a music aptitude test in the fifth grade in the city that I grew up in.That’s said, I find the speakers more than adequate. Now smaller size TVs made by Samsung or anyone else, they obviously have smaller speakers. But these are quite good. Give you an idea of what type of audio system I have, two speakers that I have are BMW 805. They cost approximately $9500 for the pair. And I have handmade Klipsch from the 1990’s. And while obviously the TV speakers are not anywhere near this range, they’re more than adequate for the average person.

My review affects you only if you need to use headphones/TV Ears and the TV speakers simultaneously. I use TV Ears while my wife listens to the TV. This newer TV does not allow that - they give me one or the other, not both. The optical output has been eliminated and replaced with HDMI eArc. If your audio equipment doesn't accommodate that type, you can get a converter. But the TV requires you to choose the TV speakers or the HDMI out, not both. With the older optical out, I could do both. Now I'm stuck reading the closed caption while my wife hears the TV speakers ok. Sucks. Too late to return, because the delivery service took the packing box with them.

I am disappointed with the color sharpness. I did have an IT person adjust it and I settled for the best he could do.

Purchased this as a gift for my sister and she loves it. Just cannot go wrong with a Samsung. This is the only brand we ever buy and have never been disappointed.

I added a couple hundred to my son’s budget and he was absolutely amazed and so excited at this TV even though we have a $4000 same size TV in the living room he absolutely love this one in the game room! I would say it’s fantastic Value!!

Using this for an outdoor TV (not in elements) though it’s not specified for outdoor use, at the price point and size, I don’t mind replacing if damaged.
