I spent many years buying, selling, roasting, brewing, and tasting coffees. My choice bean for a decaf is the Costa Rican Tarrazu bean. Decaffeinated via Swiss Water process and a good medium roast will deliver an excellent product. If you start with a good bean and give it the care that it is due then you can maintain the colors, the depth of flavors, the smooth notes and the mouth feel appropriate to the chosen brewing method. Costa Rica Tarrazu beans have been my favorite for a long time. Now that I have to switch to decaf, finding the Volcanica brand is great. The flavor is full and has the notes I'm used to. Highly recommended.

I bought the Costa Rica flavor because it was the cheapest but it is so good. I drink my coffee black. I'm unable do drink caffeine because of my anxiety so I wanted to try decaf. My sister suggested this one because of the method they use to decaffeinate the coffee. It's a bit pricey but worth it to still be able to have coffee once in a while. I don't feel any of the caffeine effects that I am very sensitive to. I think the one bag will last me a while. Will purchase in the future when I need to restock.

I buy decaf and the processing of caffeine free is important. Many companies use different processing type which are harmful to your health. The coffee is Swiss processed and the most delicious coffee I’ve ever tried. Smooth and no acid aftertaste. Many types and flavors offered but it is the best coffee I’ve ever tried.
