Easy to use, nice colored
I originally bought these to have spikes for my orchid. I ended up using up the rest of the pack staking our plethora of young aloe vera plants while they get established in their own pots - I didn't transplant them as soon as they appeared in the mother pot; by the time I did most were over 12" and needed structural support until they send out side roots in their new pots. The rods are easy to snap to size with wire cutters, so I'm able to get 2 - 3 smaller stakes out of each long one for my smaller plants. The longer stakes work well for full sized plants. They still bend a fair amount and won't hold up a large plant that really wants to tip, so I still have dowel rods in a few large pots. The color, although painted, is a nice green that blends into the plants making the stakes fairly innocuous.

Good orchid stakes at a pretty reasonable price
These are exactly what I've been looking for, and at a more fair price than I've paid previously on Amazon. (Interestingly, I notice that now with some competition, the pack of 6 18" stakes I paid $12 previously for is now $3. Harrumph.)These are are great for training/holding orchid spikes upright. The long length can be trimmed to accommodate projected height of your plants very easily with kitchen shears and a slight bend. For my mostly medium sized plants, this pack of 25 3' stakes yields a bit less than triple the number of usable stake segments. Better continue on my crazy orchid lady trajectory of new plant purchases so I don't waste any of them, haha!As an aside, the "VELCRO Brand - 45' x 1/2" Adjustable Plant Ties For Gardens and Gardening - Green" is a pretty good alternate for foam-covered wire, as the diameters I've been able to find so far on Amazon have been thicker than I'd prefer. You can very easily halve it lengthwise with scissors so it's less visually obtrusive.

good
they're good stakes next time I'm gonna get longer ones because some of my gladiolus grow taller than others and with all the weight they bend. They're excellent for amaryllis or flowers that don't grow too tall

Various Sizes
I bought this because literally they were the only ones I could find at a semi-reasonable price that weren't out of stock for months. They still took a couple of weeks to arrive. I bought two packs of them, and the size and quality varies a lot from stake to stake. Some are really thin, some are so thick they are hard to shove in the ground. Some are splitting on the ends. They are not the sturdiest, especially the thinner ones, but I needed garden stakes and they are definitely better than nothing. Buy more than you need as there will probably be ones in your pack that are too thin to use. About half the pack is decent quality and very usable, a few are not great, but usable, and a few are so thin they are useless for staking my plants.

Works for my pepper plants
These stakes have been supporting my bell pepper plants securely all summer with no problem. I have found them to be a good and affordable alternative to more expensive stakes. They may not be strong enough for heavier plants like sunflowers or shrubbery but have worked perfectly well for my average sized plants.

read the small print!
the title, as you may notice, says "325 Bamboo stakes"; even under that, there's the number 325 again, with "Bond" and "Tree care"; it seems to reinforce the impression that the amount of stakes is 325.Well, you have to scroll way down, to "product description" to read the one line that describes it as a package of 25.Somehow I missed that, thinking I was getting a good deal on amazon again. So, I was shocked to find there were only 25 in the package; my ace hardware sells that for $6.25, and I just paid $8.00!Well, I wrote the seller complaining that the title was misleading, and they just wrote back saying that the product description says it's a package of 25, and that, if I'm not happy, I can return them.Well, it would cost me the shipping, and I would come out behind on that one.I have seen, since then, the same product, sold by other sellers, with the package amount of 25 included in the title at the top; that seems more fair and less misleading. It was very easy to miss that little one-line product description.Other than that, they seem to be fine as bamboo stakes go, other than being thinner than the ones I got for less at Ace.
