I opened and extended the rod and it got stuck and took 10min to close it while trying so hard not to break it. Very cool but I don't think it'll be good as a daily fisher.

Didn’t realize the size of this pole wasMUCH smaller than other colors. Poke snapped after two uses. Couldn’t handle a small fish.

Its pretty cool, the rod is durable, comes with the basics for a spur of the moment pan fish rush after work. The reel is what you might expect for this price.

broke first try, this product is cheap and useless

i have used the combo actively for few days. it is an good set, but probably not worth the $30 price tag.i used it to catch sunfish (bluegill, red ear and crappie), rock bass, bass, etc. when i tried to set hook on a 16" walleye the rod snapped. fortunately i was able to hold onto the line to bring the fish to the net. I sent the pictures of the broken rod and got a replacement (rod only) in about three weeks.the included accessories are OK quality, nothing fancy, but they are on the larger side - i prefer using smaller hook, grubs, jigs, etc. the reel is fine, but the front drag button can catch the line while casting, which means you will spent quite bit time to untangle the lines.

It was a great idea but not so great an invention! It snapped so easily! I wish I could get my money back it didn't even last a week!! I'm extremely disappointed!
