This geode cracking kit was a fantastic hands-on activity for my kids—and honestly, I enjoyed it just as much! The kit came with several real geodes, safety goggles, and clear instructions. Cracking them open was safe and exciting, and each one revealed a unique and beautiful crystal formation inside.It's both educational and fun—perfect for sparking interest in geology and science. We learned about how geodes form and had some great conversations while exploring each one. Highly recommend for curious kids (and adults!) who love discovery and a bit of a surprise.

Absolutely beautiful geodes. Fair warning, some of them might have thin skin. Use even less force than you think you need at first.

Great buy for Christmas! My son loves science and this was a great kit. The materials were all there to use with ease and he learned from this. I would plan to use this outside because you do have to use some force to break them open. There was a small mess, like bits of rock and dust afterwards but nothing a wet paper towel can’t clean up.

Great gift for young boys 4-11. The screams of joyful surprise when they break these open and see the “jewels” is worth all their work.

Bought these as a Xmas gift for an 8 year old girl and she loved it. She still wears the goggles. When her grandma visited she showed her the cool geodes she was able to break open. Would recommend as a gift for kids any day, any holiday.

My grandsons and I have become rock and gem crazy. After opening the first batch of geodes, the boys were hooked. There was no mix of color in this batch of geodes. All white quartz. I wish I had read the other reviews before purchasing. On the bright side, my 8 year old said "it's okay grandma, the white geodes look like diamonds."
