Great light
This is my second one, I keep it with my multi tool leatherman and I use it every day at work, very dependable and useful. Worth every penny!

Better than expected, especially for the price.
Packs a bright punch. Was a lot brighter than expected. It is durable, in that it got washed once accidentally and still works flawlessly (Don't wash it, it is not waterproof and will probably eventually not work anymore if you submerge it underwater). The multifunction switch is very handy. Press once for high, twice for a lower beam. If you leave it on for a couple minutes and turn it off and back on, sometimes it will not come back on. I don't know if its a overheating issue, or if its a built in safety that prevents overheating. The body of the light does not get hot or even warm after using on high for 5 minutes. I think the black is powdercoated, in that it has not chipped or worn out after about 8 months of being used. One edge wore through to bare metal, but I think that was from getting dropped, and not normal use.The clip is tight, so much so that you need to pull up on it to get it into a pocket easy. Which could be good or bad, but it slides out of a pocket easily, and if clipped in, does not move around at all.Have replaced the batteries twice. The battery it came with lasted about two months of use, but is a cheap battery. Replaced with a higher quality battery and is still going good. The light does dim when the battery is getting low, which is a good indicator that it needs to be replaced. I will be trying a rechargeable Enloop when this battery dies. This is a very good pocket light for the price.

Pratique
Légère, solide et puissante. le clip permet de l'accrocher dans une poche pour ne pas la perdre. Un must pour s'éclairer sans s'encombrer.

Great 1xAAA light
I am a flashlight junkie. I own many of them, work on electronics for a living, and am generally in the know about all the latest greatest things out there. This flashlight is awesome. Its output is more than any other 'mainstream' single AAA powered light. There are brighter ones out there from smaller companies that specialize in that sort of thing, but the build quality and reliability of this one make it far superior, in my mind. its body feels very well constructed, my emitter was pretty much dead center, the black coating on the outside feels exceptional and has held up well to some moderately abusive use. Also, its battery life seems awesome. It's output tails off as the battery drains, instead of just outright dieing when the voltage reaches a cutoff point. Since i carry this in my pocket everday, a huge deal for me is that the button be designed so that the light doesn't turn itself on. This one has not done that once in the few months i've owned it. Also noteworthy is that the switch is a 'forward clicky' type, meaning that the light comes on as you are pushing it in, allowing you to turn it on momentarily with a half-push. Overall, the perfect light for my pocket.EDIT 3jan2013I use this thing every [freaking] day. i deployed to the middle east with it. i painted it tan before i left. the paint wore off, the black coating on the thing is still just about pristine. a little wear only where i have obviously knocked it into something that was made of a harder (than aluminum) metal, and put a divot or scratch in it.since i have owned it, i have caught it accidentally being on 2 times, and it has killed one battery after being on and not having me catch it. that's in hundreds of days of use. still my every-day-carry light, and i ain't lookin' for a replacement. actually... i might just buy another one...*update july 2014 - lost this thing a while back. made me sad. replaced it with a streamlight microstream (my 2nd microstream..). i can confidently say that although this is definitely still a 5-star product, i'm back to that microstream as my every day carry light. the reasons: battery life, better clip (less sticking out of my pocket), slightly smaller, slightly better switch (in that it doesn't accidentally turn on EVER). the only thing the microstream gives up is a few lumens of output. i'd much rather have the battery life.
