Q: Does this monitor come with a DisplayPort 1.4 cable

Yes both Display port 1.4 and HDMI 2.0 included

Q: it says it supports gsync. Does it 'officially' support nvidia gsync? If it does not, it wont be of any use to anyone using gsync because of problems!

At the moment it is not officially supported, no. But Nvidia is continually testing new monitors and adding them to their official list. That said you can still enable g-sync and it should work without problems. I did have g-sync enabled and did have problems, but i believe the issue is that the cable provided is not good enough and I am having a VESA certified cable delivered. See my review for more information as to if that fixed the issue. Also the full list of Nvidia G-sync official monitors can easily be found on their website.

Q: Is it only me or does the speakers sounds realy terrible?

speakers are fine, but don't expect any bass etc as it's just your standard speakers - they are nice and loud tho, even on the lowest volume setting! :)
