I was unsure given the reviews but this product came through for me (and a friend) who needed to remove gel polish. I am giving 5 stars because it worked with the caveat that you may have to apply a layer, wait a few minutes, then apply another layer. Depending on how thick the gel is, you may have to apply a third layer. This doesn't mean apply a layer, then wait and scrape, then start the process again. It means just add additional layers if the gel doesn't bubble and start to separate from your nail within a few minutes. Believe me, you will know. Some areas of the gel actually popped off my friend's nail. It was a funny feeling but nail was 100% fine. Also, neither one of us experienced burning or skin irritation. I appreciate not having to soak my nails in acetone for 15 minutes and then have my nails scraped by a grinder. Make sure to file off the top layer of the gel like the directions say.

I’ve been doing my own gel nails for over a year, and this remover has officially replaced the whole foil + acetone soak situation. It works really well - breaks down the gel so you can just scrape it off - but it does take a couple coats to fully dissolve thicker polish.One heads-up: the stuff you scrape off can kind of burn if it touches your skin, so try to keep it just on the nail (and don't lay your arm in nail polish shavings like O did). Even with that, I’d still 1000% prefer this over soaking. It’s quicker, easier, and way less drying for my hands. Total DIY nail game-changer (and saves me soooo much time).

finally found something i can use at home to take off gel polish when i don’t want to go to the salon to have it removed. this is very much a diy project so be careful, and be patient with the removal process. it’s a learning experience for sure

I read tons of reviews before buying this so felt like I had a good expectation for this product and it met all the expectations! I only used this product and the filing boards to get all the gel (polish + gel builder I had on professionally) off! I was patient as I saw others say, and I did a few layers the first time, used the tools to scrape off, and then repeated a few times. I rarely leave reviews but had to come here to report back!

This product works great! Quick and easy process. I recommend waiting to file or cut nails/ cuticles until after using this product. I did my nail prep before using and some of the polish remover got on my fresh skin and it caused a burning sensation. Used a cotton pad to wipe away and it helped

OMG when I say this is a game changer it really is! No more soaking my hands in acetone. I now just apply a couple coats of this and use the tools provided to remove my gel polish. It’s so simple and only takes a few minutes. Love love love this stuff!

This product did not work well for me. It took multiple applications and a lot of scraping to get my gel polish off. It definitely does not have the power of the stuff they use at my salon. Sadly. I was hoping to save some money…

It worked well for the gel nail polish. Its great if you only have a gel manicure. But it you have a full set it takes a lot of time
